Digitalised, connected container terminals will need to be established if we are to take advantage of the automation and technologies that will drive container terminals into a more efficient, sustainable and economical future. This session will look at the steps container terminals can take to continue their digitalisation, while showcasing the technologies which will enable fast collection, transfer, visibility and processing of operational data; such as 5G, IoT, wireless private networks and digital twins.
